DREM simplifies the deployment of heat pumps for residential properties. The DREM founders have created a marketplace and platform for deploying distributed renewable energy, starting with heat pumps. Think of it as a one-stop shop that radically improves the consumer experience of buying and owning a heat pump. This includes a customer-centric online sales journey with support from an in-house sales team, complete with algorithmic pricing, and an installer marketplace that gives installers access to home renovation projects.
Why we invested
"Distributed energy installations are growing rapidly as we need to drastically speed up decarbonisation of homes and as households try to battle high electricity costs. Simultaneously, these renovations are today mainly done by small scale residential installers that are inefficient & "stuck in the 90s" with offline sales processes. This is why DREM is needed since they've built a marketplace and platform to simplify deployment of distributed renewable energy, starting with heat pumps."
